I think it's too early to draw any conclusions here. Yes, it's big unexpected news from Google and Yahoo but I rather believe everything when it's actually happening. So far the industry only suffered slight changes. I rather keep myself patient and see what comes next...

I think it would cause no harm if the sit you are linking to is related to your own. Still, this article is very informative and guides those that are still trying to grasp some knowledge in affiliate links.

I know that affiliate links are not really helping the websites to boost uo their ranks. I use do follow links and i am happy till date with them. I haven't faced much of a trouble with do follow.
